Paul Barich was born and raised in Redlands. He opened Barich & Associates in downtown Redlands in 1979 and has worked in health, life and Medicare insurance in the city ever since.
He still takes clients himself. For a firm whose argument is that a real person answers the phone, that is the fact that makes the argument true — the person whose name is on the door is one of the people who picks it up.
The work he is known for is the part that happens after the sale: a denied claim reopened, a coding error corrected, a coverage exception negotiated for someone already in treatment. None of it is commissionable. It is what the firm means when it says the service continues after the plan is in place.
